Die HBT10-10.00 ist ein Sechskantstangen-Spannschloss 5/8-18 mit 0.875″ Schlüsselweite und 10.00″ Gesamtkörperlänge. Beide Enden sind mit Innengewinde versehen (eins RH, eins LH) zur Aufnahme von Gelenkköpfen oder Kugelgelenken.
Das Sechskantstangen-Spannschloss der HBT-Baureihe ist ein Versteller mit Innengewinde auf beiden Seiten: Ein Gelenkkopf wird in das Rechtsgewinde-Ende eingeschraubt, ein weiteres in das Linksgewinde-Ende. Durch Drehen des Sechskantkörpers mit einem Schraubenschlüssel wird die Baugruppe fein justiert verlängert oder verkürzt. Eingesetzt für Spurwerteinstellung, Abstimmung der Radaufhängungsgeometrie, Lenkspurstangen und alle Anwendungen, die eine präzise, werkzeugseitig zugängliche Längeneinstellung erfordern. Kohlenstoffstahl, silber verzinkt.
