WTF-0804R / WTF-0804L ist ein 4130 Chromoly-Rohradapter für 1″ Außendurchmesser × 0.058″ Wandstärke Rohre mit 1/2-20 Innengewinde. Die Rechtsgewinde-Version (WTF-0804R) und die Linksgewinde-Version (WTF-0804L) werden als passendes Paar für verstellbare Gestängebaugruppen geliefert.
Der WTF-Rohradapter wird in das Ende eines 4130 Chromoly-Rohrs geschweißt oder eingepresst und anschließend mit einem Innengewinde versehen, das einen Gelenkkopf, eine Spindelhub-Schraube oder eine Muffen-Verstellmutter aufnimmt. Mit einem RH- und einem LH-Rohradapter an gegenüberliegenden Enden eines Rohrs entsteht ein spannschlossartig verstellbares Gestänge — durch Drehen des Rohrs ändert sich die Gesamtlänge der Baugruppe.
